Sweet and dark. Molasses flavour that is smooth. High alcohol but you'd never know it in a mixer. All this at an inexpensive price too. I will try their other offerings next time I can. Highly recommended to at least try it.

Damn good full body rum, leaves a thick froth on the glass when served with mix

Warm, sweet rum. Perfect for sipping on it's own. Tasty with a good heat

COLOUR; Quite dark; rich and deep tawny port; brown-orange; chestnut red-brown in the bottle.

NOSE: Surprisingly thin and watery initially; does not smell like 100 British proof; savoury sweet; sour over-ripe fruit, like it has been sitting in the sun too long; some alcohol burn. Score 6/10

TASTE: Very strong; very astringent and drying; quite sweet (not sickly); pure dark maple syrup; full-flavoured and very rich; mild smokiness and tobacco; espresso coffee beans. Score 9/10

FINISH: Long-lasting and drying; same flavours as taste. Score 8/10

OVERALL: Very delicious and rich; so strong and drying; worth getting again; comparable to a high-proof, slightly peated Highland scotch; nice presentation. Weighted Score 8.0/10

IMAGERY: Night-time; walking on the pier; burning torches lighting the way; somehow my chest also caught on fire.

A great 100 proof rum. A Guyanese rum that is bottled in Newfoundland, Canada. Strong odour of molasses and very smooth.

Quite flavourful, however the high alcohol content makes it a bit too harsh to be considered a sipper.
A bit of Coke mellows the alcohol but still allows the flavours to come through.
I quite like it as a mixed drink, however my guess is that many will still find it to be a bit over powering.

Much flavour, great for a potent rum and coke. Cheers!
