A sweet hint of spice with a slight sharpness but excellent is a strong warm finish

In der Nase weich und dezent. Leichtes, liebevoll gebranntes Karamell und noch nicht ganz reife tropische Früchte werden Dir in einer Holzschüssel schmackhaft gemacht.
Am Gaumen, prickelnde Frische und süsse Schärfe. Kräuter im Karamell eingekocht und über frisch geschälte Früchte verteilt probieren die Zunge zu verwöhnen. Leichte Tabak, Leder und Holz Noten sind dezent im Hintergrund.
Am Schluss obsiegen die Medizinkräuter und eine süss, salzige Gischt bleibt auf den Lippen zurück.
Ein Riise mit erträglicher Süsse aber auch nicht besonderer Tiefe. Für Süssrum Fans, Entdecker und Einsteiger.

Forest honey colors in the glass.
Soft and subtle on the nose. Light, lovingly burnt caramel and not quite ripe tropical fruits are made palatable to you in a wooden bowl.
On the palate, sparkling freshness and sweet spiciness. Herbs boiled down in the caramel and spread over freshly peeled fruit try to tantalize the tongue. Light tobacco, leather and wood notes are subtle in the background.
In the end the medicinal herbs prevail and a sweet, salty spray remains on the lips.
A Riise with tolerable sweetness but also not particular depth. For sweet rum fans, explorers and beginners.

The smell is not so strong, but it’s very very sweet.

Not much taste and strong alcoholic finish that lasts too long

This is quite different A. H. Riise -> with strong aroma of fruit (I know that taste, cant name it) -> maybe Papaya or caned fruit. Less sweet than usual.

Strength -> 5/10

This is a First-class best rum! This rum is a little light in colour but taste better than most dark rums. This rum is sweet, golden and delicious. Colour. The aroma is caramel, chocolate orange and sweet. All in a Delightful composition. Taste is sweet and great. You will not be disappointed. The aftermath is sweet and a to short. Stays in your mouth for a while. Too short time, I would say. A great, great rum for most people. This is the best rum.

Worst from the XO line. Only sweet with a bit alcohol burning (but only 40%). Other variants of XO line has something unique (orange, apricot, porto etc.) this one is only sweet :-(

First 2 thought after a sip is a Caribbean beach and Christmas!? :D

Nose: coconut, vanilla and orange chocolate

Palet: fruity/banana, semi sweet and velvety smooth consistency

Aftertaste: good complexity with a good balance between the sweetness and the taste of alcohol. Hints of banana.

Overall: Great danish rum! can definitely recommend it! I imagine it being good with some dessert/pie/cake?
