This was an impulse buy, but I found myself quite impressed by this bottle. Plenty of fruity flavours and not too sweet. Certainly a good sipping Rum, on a cool evening, perhaps with a good book!
It is dry and has a slightly smoky note.
"You get an initial burst of milky sugary tea and very strong slightly bitter pineapple juice."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Unwatered navy strength rum that feels watery :), very plain material w/ no real character

Cheap navy strength rum, even though with borderline 57% ABV, which I generally like. Partially Jamaican blend so has (some, little, partial) Jamaican funkiness in its DNA. The taste is strong but not enough flavorful with pleasant body but somewhat harsh and bittery finish. Good for a try but there is a number of better navy rums without a doubt. While there is nothing dramatically wrong with the taste, overall feeling is dull and boring.
