Veľmi nesmela vôňa i chuť. Človek sa snaží nájsť niečo so v Ríme prevláda,ale neúspešne. Neodporúčam investovať do celej fľašky, skôr rum do Cuba libre
A freeby taster
Colour: Golden like it's brothers
Nose: Almost completely absent, remarkable. It's definitely a spirit, but no real aromatic qualities beyond the alcohol.
Mouth: Relatively firm bite of alcohol, tastes young, in keeping with the light colour. There is a hint of fruit and a touch of smoke / peat, but it is hard to tell whether it is a brandy, a rum, or a whisky.
Sweetness: 1/5
Throat: Short burn, a bit of lingering smoke
It's is remarkably short on character, will do for mixing, but not for sipping.
Rumtopf vielleicht ? 6+
Nice clear amber in a glass.
In the nose very similar to Extra Old but more pronounced and differentiated. White ripe fruit on slightly charred resinous wood with some caramel and spices rounded off.
On the palate a sharp start, burning chocolate, burning caramel, burning fruit, scorched wood and exploding sugar cane.
In the finish peppery, chocolate, caramel and gone.
For a high-proof somewhat less dynamic and not so full-bodied. A rum for ........ Rum pot maybe ? 6+
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Now hear me out. This is quite the unpopular opinion but i really do think this is a at the very least an 8/10.
This is not you typical rum. Smokey ex bourbon barrels and 110 proof / 55% is quite unique.
If you dont like whisky, this might not be for you. If you do: Try it if you can get your hands on a bottle.
The color is more on the bright side. Just as "Rene Rum" wrote: It is a nice clear amber color.
I dont think caramel coloring has been added.
On the nose I get caramel like sweatness with vanilla and a few peaty and smokey aromas.
On the tongue it only loses the peatiness but you can taste that there was some whisky involved with those barrels.
Of course since it is overproof there is a strong spirity smell and sharp taste to it.
Never the less this is one of my favorite Rums on my shelf.
