This is a Marie-Galante rhum which was distilled in small copper stills which is something special for rhum agricoles. The Rhum Rhum Liberation series can be associated with Luca Gargano and this trace opens a link to the Caroni rums and indeed there are some connections as also the rhum rhum liberation reveals some of the typical "burned tyres" flavors so typical for the Caronis though it is a rhum agricole. So you get plentiful complex fruity flavours together with that "burned tyre" deepness. Verly long fiinish.
This is an odd rum, probably due to casks (wine). It tastes like fruit gums! Still, it is an amazingly complex and fun product, with an absolutely unique taste world. Highly recommended.
Wow, no added sugar means this isn't syrupy sweet.
Spicy bite at that start but very complex as it opens up & you get interesting wood, clove, bitters & other woody spicy aftertaste that hit you in waves.
At the opening, the herbal hints are on the front, then comes the lightest esters.

Enjoyed a bottle of Rhum Rhum Liberation 2017 Rum while in London. Unique label design. Very expensive for what it really is. Light golden color indicating very little added ingredients. Very dry rum with strong floral notes and plenty of oak to you nose and palate. Definitely a strong burn at the end but surprisingly short ending. Rhum Agricole fan boys can add 2 points to my score.
