Pyrat XO Reserve

Rhum à déguster avec une glace ou avec acompagnement.

I used to hate Pyrat. The flavor confused me and it seemed inconsistent with rums that I liked on the whole.
Like one of the comments below, I left a bottle open to breathe. It really does open up to a more complex orange and vanilla flavor than originally lets on.
At first I thought the flavors seemed forced and overdone - almost like it was too ‘in your face’ with it. Now though, I find it enjoyable to sip once it breathes.

Pyrat is a very smooth good tasting rum. Enjoy is in the rocks or with tonic. Definitely in my collection of rums.

This is a great rum for the price and I can find it locally. It works great straight up or on the rocks.

Medium sweet, citrus, citrus, citrus...
Some may feel a small kick on the back of the throat if sipped straight but soon you won't notice anymore!
Quite fair choice in places you can't find Ron Millonario 15 or even Diplomatico reserva exclusiva...

Very nice rum, well priced and kept in freezer for sipping.

Probablement un des meilleurs rapport qualité prix selon moi.

Un rhum bien gras, sur les agrumes avec un petit goût subtile de bananes au fini.

J'aurais donné un 6/10 pour la qualité global du produit, mais comme il a une personnalité bien défini et sa propre identité, un 7 est amplement mérité.

Parfait entrée de game pour déguster seul.
