Pyrat XO Reserve

This is rum made by a tequila company, and it comes out like cognac... I don't understand, and unfortunately don't enjoy it. This smells, tastes, and behaves almost exactly like Grand Marnier, but with less sugar and more alcohol bite. I'm alternating between 4 and 5 on this.

Etwas spezieller Geschmack; stark nach Alkohol und Orange. Dies wirft die Frage auf, ob hier nicht nachgeholfen wurde. Im Abgang sehr eigenartig bitter. Nichts für mich....

Silné citrusové aroma, alkoholová dochuť bez výrazného těla. Celkově průměr, avšak citrus není můj šálek kávy, a proto dávám pouze 4.

Not worth the price, but a nice cheap box for packaging.

I don't know how to rate this rum. When I have finished first bottle I was decided to buy another one. I was perfectly satisfied with specific orange taste of this rum. But after opening of second bottle I was very unpleasantly surprised and every bad review of this rum started to make sense.
Strong alcohol smell like some cleaner and tongue burning taste. I will try another bottle which my friend has and hope that it will be good experience again.

Too sweet , to much orange ! But i recon the Ladies Would like it !

Looks nice, but I'm not into it... artificial orange means it feels a bit fake to me. But if you dig that, fairplay...I will try it again..one day...but not going out my way to.

I read a lot of positive reviews , but I am so disappointed with this rum
The best part of this liquid is bottle. very nice.
Smell and flavour are the same....ethanol + orange, very artificial ... spirit is so sharp.

Tohle mi doporucili v obchode, kdyz dosel Don Papa. Prodavajici byl asi novacek a nebo jeden (ci oba) z techto rumu neochutnal! Ostrejsi rum, koreni - skorice, kardamon, vanilka.

I'm glad I only spent $8 for a 375 mL. I don't get all the hype and will align myself with those who think this stuff should more appropriately fill my Zippo. I will agree it gets better as it sits, but why should you have wait?
