To start, the nose is quite something. Certainly not a traditional ‘rum’ smell, closer to a candy, the honey really comes through with marzipan and almonds. While it’s not meant to sip alone, I have to say it’s not offensive and surprisingly smooth like a liquor. I could see making really unique cocktails with this, which isn’t my forte. But with a splash of coke it works... if you have a super sweet palate. Honey does come through well at a 5/1 Coke ratio. A for effort, but I’m just not sure what to do with it - not straight or with Coke.
