For 60€ a must have in everyone's Rum bar. For me the best Standard Jamaica Rum so far.

Wat een geur en een volle heftige smaak. Rustig aan. Overproof. Jamaica rum

Nose: Caramel and twizzlers. Sweet. Light anise but more candy and cherry.
Palate: Without dilution, it tastes like if twizzlers were soaked in column still rum. With dilution, still much of the same thing but with a more bitterness and a bit of oak.
Tail: LONG cherry cough syrup tail.

Similar to the plantation Jamaica but less cough syrup and more complexity.

Très beau hampden bien sec, on croirait boire de l'essence certes, mais de l'essence délicieuse !

Like the 8 years "Overproof", needs time to fully bring the flavours, but when it does, it's a very fine Hampden, not so funky but well balanced in flavours, with something of a Foursquare under the usual tropical fruits.

At 60.5% ABV and at 231 ester count it needs some time in the glass and a few drops of water to open up and get the best out of it.
I prefer that it is not so cask influenced like the heavier official 60% ABV expression.

This is delicious. Not a sipper for a beginner at 60.5% abv. Strong notes of cinnamon, apple, ripe banana.

Quite the well crafted rum (its a blend). Undoubtedly Jamaican, but the hogo is quite restrained.
The mouthfeel is voluptuous while the frangrance and flavor is wonderful. Jamaican rums are so often dwelled upon for their ester counts, yet here we have wonderful, noble rum oils taking center stage. As a sipper, this is perfect as-is.

Pas commun. Boisé. Vraiment pas commun différent des martiniquais .

Meget banan i duften.
