Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still Distilled
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

Hard to find but mighty tasty. Sweet and creamy. Great bottle of rum

Nice and sweet, just as I like it. The colour has a deep warm glow.
It costs more than the Barbados, but the taste lasts twice as long...
Love it.
My number one so far
Very good indeed...rich taste and immense aftertaste
The thing is, round, smooth and gently. A sweet soft taste of the warm sun and with a touch of caribbean sea

Price and wow factor wise, not my choice to spend 50 plus bucks on this rum, there are better ones in the premium category. I tastes this one at a plantation rums only tasting.
My "go to" rum! On the rocks! Cannot recommend this enough
This is an amazing rum for the price. At a price point of $45 it gives you the smoothness of a rum worth at least 60 or 70. One of my favorites to drink straight or on the rocks.

It has a nice colour with a tint of orange. With its nice sweet caramel smell calls for something heavy but it is all the opposite. It's fresh and light.
It tastes pretty much like a coconut liqueur.
"An overly sweet saccharin note which make the rum taste artificial. ."

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This rum is little bit overpriced here in Czech Republic. It is very good yet quite sharp for a 20-year (of course a bled with younger rums) old drink. It's totally worth trying as it's taste is interesting, full-bodied and great for those who don't expect really sweet taste, but I would expect more rounded body from such an old guy.
