Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still Distilled

Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.

The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

Vynikajúci rum, ktorý prekoná aj omnoho drahších konkurentov. Vanilka, banány, kokos, mierne nasladnutý avšak nie prisladký.

Very good rum for really very good price.

Taste is sweet but not much - sweetness is perfect balanced (not so sweet as Diplomatico 12Y), you feel the aging of casks, no bad alcohol aftertaste.

Aroma is not very intensive / it is more light aroma, but nice. This rum is not for nose eaters, not saying this rum has no smell, but is not that intensive as some other old rums I had tasted.

One more comment / packaging is SUPER. Good tip for gift.

Nice sweet, dry fruits like dessert. Will do well with a HdM

Bananas, sweet mango and coconut. There is also a definite vanilla note. This is all rounded off by a slight oakiness. To taste there is a tingle from the heat of the rum and a hint of oak but these instantly give way as the rich honeyed sweetness coats your tongue.

A smooth, very nice and well balanced rum, rich in flavours. One of the best rums i have tasted.

Just wonderful after a nice dinner with good friends. The pallet is subtle with a 'not to dominant' vanilla flavour. Rum is made to share and this one is the perfect rum for those special occasions. Nice bottle, great aroma and taste. Just sipping heaven.

One of the best drinks I have ever drunk. Also It is the softest taste of rum I have experienced.

Had this one at a Rhum tasting last week and was very pleased to see it on the list. This is the kind of rhum I can really enjoy drinking. It has the right color, great scent and a slightly sweet taste with hints of coco & vanilla. I can always enjoy an aged rhum and this one will stay high on my list
