Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still Distilled
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

Jag håller fullständigt med Chris L från Enland. Jag blev riktigt besviken på att denna Barbados XO har så stark alkoholsmak. Helsingör Vinhandel kunde valt en bättre Plantation att sätta sitt namn på.
This rum is a notch above Plantation 20th Anniversary Rum and Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva. One things that seemed "off" is an overpowering pineapple aroma. Oh well, it is a desert drink.

This rum is not 20 years old (only an anniversary), but that doesn´t mean that it is bad.
It's got hints of Caramel, vanilla and a touch of bananas
It tastes a little sweet with vanilla caramel and some citrus flavor .
This rum is O.K., but it doesn't quite hold up as well against other rums in the same category.
The flavor hits the mouth, and leaves quite a bit quicker than other rums I've tried, so it gets a 7 & that's being generous for it's price range. ($80.00)

Very smooth rum, with very full palette of flavors, best i ever drink so fare.
Hands down my favourite for the money. Excellent sipper.

Very balanced taste . Coconut vanilla and honey are dominant taste. Smooth , one of the top in midprice rums category .

Nose: banana, vanilla, sucar cane, caramel and coconut and also chamomile.
Palate: creamy and quite sweet, almost too much for my taste, is almost on the dessert rum category. coconut, caramel, banana, tropical fruit and very distinct quava notes
Finish: sugary smooth with a bit of spice and pleasant amount of oak.
This is a solid aged rum for casual rum byers but it is not an authentic unaltered rum.
It definately has a lot of sugar added but im happy they didn't add any more because this is on the brink of becoming way too sweet.
But it has exciting flavor profile. Not for people who dislike sweetened rums.

Notes of caramel and coconut round off a great aged rum - try it neat.

I waited a few months before testing it. I come from the world of cognac and my journey into the world of rum was to pass by Plantation.This XO 20th is for me the best rum I tasted yet. Very gentle with aromas of vanilla , coconut , caramel. Elegant with a beautiful maturity. This is an excellent assembly work . A long finish . Need to have it in your bar.
