Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still Distilled
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

Great nose, tastewise it's ok, but i miss a longer aftertaste.
Very good tasting but not so smooth and for this price there are better Rums for me.

Plantation 20 ranks up there with my ultimate favourites (thus far). Finding a smooth sipping rum like this, I've gone through 3 bottles - now finding it difficult to locate replacements, my last unopened one has been relocated to the prize cabinet for safe keeping. A great rum with ever so slight hints of mango, old peach nectar with an incredibly smooth finish. Not as deep and smokey as Diplimatico, it has it's own character that stands up to many at much higher price points.
Would definitely recommend if you come across it - not disappointing.
This rum is truly awesome and it might be hard to find a guest who doesn't appreciate this liquified happiness. If it was just a hint less sweet, it would score a ten.

A nice burn and great flavor but definitely a very good sipping beverage.

En la boca y nariz Caribe puro, notas de banana, coco, piña y vainilla. Aterciopelado y muy suave. Un gran ron de Plantation y una hermosa botella. Uno de mis favoritos.
Well balanced, slight sweet, but lacks some depth.

Une belle présentation avec une jolie couleur qui donné envie de découvrir ce rhum. A la dégustation, de belles notes épicées, de vanille, de fruit et de caramel. Un bonne longueur. Excellent, un de mes préférés.
