Multiple | Aged | 40% ABV | Pot and Column Still Distilled
Plantation XO 20th Anniversary rum is a combination of pot-stilled and column-stilled Barbadian rums that are initially aged in the Caribbean in ex-bourbon casks for 12-20 years. They are then transported to France for a second 12-18 months aging in small French oak casks.
The first bottle of Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created for the head of Cognac Ferrand Estate Alexandre Gabriel to honor his 20th year running the company. This special gift has resulted in the bottling we see today.

Very smooth, vanilla, leather and Carmel. One of my top runs.
This rum is better than Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva. If you like Diplomatico, you will LOVE this one. It has more kinds of taste inside and long tongue smoothness.
Introduced to it at a friends on Canada day 2017 and was overwhelmed. Itβs my go to sipping rum when I just need to chill. A pleasant but not overwhelming sweetness , richly flavoured , soft and silky smooth with a sublime taste. I have not tired of its taste yet as you can see from my photo of December 25th when Santa gave me another . I would rank it as the best drink of any kind I have ever had by a wide margin.
Really great after dinner rum. Smooth and tasty. Almond and anis. Really enjoy it everytime

Au nez, cβest la noix de coco grillΓ©e (voire frite) qui se fait immΓ©diatement remarquer et qui est de plus en plus prΓ©sente ! La vanille et lβorange viennent renforcer le cΓ΄tΓ© gourmand de ce rhum.
En bouche cβest aussi gourmand et doux (sans Γͺtre trop sucrΓ©). Cβest la vanille qui passe ici un au premier plan et relΓ¨gue la coco au second. La texture de ce rhum est elle aussi gourmande.
La finale est placΓ©e sous le signe de la noix de coco et pas quβun peu. Il y a aussi la sensation de quelque chose de gras et dβonctueux.
I am fairly new to the world of sipping rum but I seem to like the Barbados rums the best. I got a taste for finer rum when I tried Bumbu which I really like. This XO Plantation 20th anniversary rum exceeded my expectations! While my palate is still virgin I was pleased with the coconut,vanilla, banana and cane flavors. Wonderful rum.

Excellent rum for those excellent moments. So smooth that one glass is not enough.
This was smooth with a great flavor. Chilled from an ice cube was a great drink.

Krasna flasa, vo voni pre mna okrem vanilky najvyraznejsou zlozkou krasna vona kokosu. Chut velmi vyvazena, rum je primerane sladky, da sa popijat aj dlhsie bez toho aby bolo cloveku sladko. Alkohol trocha popali jazyk a hned zmizne, sud je citit tiez len jemne. Skvely pocin, jeden z mojich najoblubenejsich!!!

After reading many reviews of this rum, I wasn't sure what to expect. Those who note coconut on the nose and pallet are spot on. This is sweet (my preferred style), unctuous, syrupy and deeply flavored. So many flavor notes that they're difficult to unpack here, but I get huge coconut, marshmello, honey and apple pie spices that goes on for minutes.
