Enjoyed two glasses of Habitation Velier Last Ward 2009 Rum while in San Francisco. High end bottle and label design. Golden color. Cherries and oak to your nose and palate. Surprisingly strong burn at the end being such a dry rum. Unique for sure. Not my cup of tea.
Distilled 2009, bottled in 2018. 59% ABV, straight from the cask. Barbados single rum.
n: so delicate compared to the Caroni alongside it. Cherry wine. Explodes onto the palate with cherry, apple cider, passion fruit. Not being a fan of cherry, I like it but I don't love it. Still, it is impressive.
