Cihuatan Nahual Legacy Blend Limited Edition

One of the best rums I’ve ever had. Had at Modis Restaurant in Breckenridge, CO. Lots of vanilla and butterscotch. OK burn. Would buy this in a second.

I got the opportunity to compare side by side Nahual and Nikté limited editions, and I can say, they tastes similar, but Nahual is more harsh and musty, and theres freshly cutted grass taste. Both of them are great, based on strong marzipan. But I preffer Nikté wich is more rounded even with more AVB. If you wanna see full review, see my Nikté rating. But really, they are both great choices.

Tento rum jsem si zakoupil možná jako svou první "limitku". Zaujali mně recenze a nádherné zpracování etikety a tuby. Láhev je sice standartní, ale jinak je to velice dobrý rum i na dlouhé popíjení. Oproti Nikté mi přijde tvrdší v chuti.

Vůně: příjemná, sladší
Chuť: vyvážená, lehce silnější inu 47,5%
Opětovná koupě: spíše ne
Cena: okolo 1700,- Kč

Ciguatan 12 year was very nice, so I bought this too.
It's a completely defferent flavor, and both are beautiful.
This has strong honey, custard cream, and some nuts flover.
Very rich taste.
A little bit too roch, so I can't drink a lot at once.
A good rum to drink little by little every night.

Aroma: Nugát, lískové ořechy, marcipán, mandle. Za tím vegetativní tóny. Kořenová zelenina. Bílá čokoláda. Zajímavý profil aroma. (86 b)
Chuť: Jemný, příjemný, nasládlý, pak pro oživení vykoukne špetka nakyslosti. Vanilka, krémová dřevitost, v dochuti těžší koření. (84 b)
Body: 85/100
Shrnutí: Ochutnán s kamarádem v rámci testu devíti rumů od Cihuatánu. Celkově páté místo degustace.

Salvadorský nádech naprosto úžasného rumu. Tato limitka za rozumnou cenu se určitě vyplatí a me se konečně dostala pod ruku respektive pod nos a na můj mlsný jazýček. Při přivonění ke skleničce ucítíte znatelně chuť salvadorské kávy a lehce zavání opravdu i karamelem a temné čokolády.

My journey has mainly been on the more expensive rums so take my comments with a grain of salt. This rum has great aroma and taste. I originally gave it a nine but am now downgrading it to an 8 because of the added sugar. Enjoy but know what helps it get there.

Sweet aroma, first taste is caramel and coffee. Nice sweeter body and aftertaste with bitter tones. You will not believe that there is not additional sugar or spice...
