(Excellent rapport qualité prix)
Plantation rums are quickly becoming my favorites. Clean tropical flavor with hint of banana. Not as smooth as Plantation Panama and has more alcohol bite, but very good. Fairly sweet, but I like that. If you don't like sweet, you should be a bourbon drinker.
It is wonderfull and very unique sweet rum. Full of tropical fruits like banan and mango. Great value for the price and good for beginners too.
Hedder min rom.
For the price point (about $30 CAD) I was not expecting a very sippable rum, but that's what I got.
It´s a good sipping rum for me. Nice aroma and sweetness.
I love this one..especially after a hard day of work. Sweet from nose to finish.
A step up from the Plantation Grande Reserva, also from Barbados. Still pretty sweet, but more character both in nose, taste as well as the aftertaste. I like the Barbados style rum in general.
Tried this one and Havana Club Selección at the same time. Maybe that wasn't the best idea as the Plantation came in the shadow of the HCS, according to me.
wow, so smooth. It's easy drinking taken to the max.
Nice, sweet with strength, perfect for so young rum.
One of the best from cheaper rums.
This is actually of one the cheapest rums you can buy at the swedish monopoly and I have to say it's fantastic for the price you pay (at least here in Sweden)
This is super for varm chocolate and cream especially when skiing in the mountain but also when cold outside. If you miss better Rums for zipping this is okay for this purpose also.
its not a bad rum for mixing but i was disappointed with it
Lite väl söt men väldigt god smak för priset. Banan/vanilj
big disappointment for me. Very cheap smell and taste. The taste is so thin. Do not recommend to buy it. From my point of view, only worth mixing.
22 gr/liter suiker. WTF Plantation?
I little heat on this 5yr grand reserve along with flavors of carmel, nutmeg-like spice and juicy fruit makes a nice little sipper and mixer for the price,
OK sipper, nice mixer and a good price. I really enjoy the versatility of this rum.
edited to add sugar test results- 22g
A cheap rum with a lot of taste. Quite sweet... but that's what I was looking for.
It's only 5years old but it already wields the typical fruity Barbados-style ,typically with a little bite in the throat. One of the best Price/value i ever tasted
