Plantation 2000 Barbados

Ein klasse Rum ob als Mixer, mit Cola oder on the rocks.

Sugar: 18 gpl. Some similarities to the Plantation XO. It's cheaper and in this case you get what you paid for. It's not as sweet or smooth as the XO, nor does it have the flavours and complexities that the XO has. A bit of coconut and banana in the taste. It's a good mixing rum for me but it does have some potential when mixed with a single ice cube. I will pass on this and stick with the XO.

I tasted the 2001. Some nice flavors of cocos, banana, oak. I thought it was bit too dry tough. Still, it's a decent rum for price.

I have only had the opportunity to try two of these series of special rums from Plantation, but it is certainly the best of the two - in my opinion. As I find more and try more, time will tell. In the meantime, I will enjoy this very much.

I really enjoy the plantation rum series and the Barbados version is my favourite. But after trying more expensive rums I have to say I'd rather make a good cocktail with this one and do myself a favour and drink some rums straight.

After dinner I got gift from barman becouse he knows I like rum. It was the best desert ever. Thank you David

reminds me of the 20th Anniversary Barbados. Sweet but with a decent burn.

There is an aroma of cocos and fruit with a little hint of raisin (can't decide) The taste i surprisingly dry of an Barbados rum, its taste have hints of fruit. the after burn is sweet with and little edge to anon side.

Den smager fint, har lidt mere over sig, end kun sødme, dog ikke en rom Jeg er stor favorit af.
