Somewhat less sweet than my El Dorado 3 year and nothing is as sweet as the Prichard’s Crystal, but this is currently my third white rum on my bar counter at all times. Just like El Dorado, I have run thru most of the Plantation rums that are readily available. Of all the brands I have tried over the years, those are the only two where I have tried most of what they offer – and continue to enjoy most of what they offer.

I really do taste the melding of "The Three Stars" - the fruity banana, the spiciness, the nuttiness, the touch of citrus... Its rather delicate, as most aged whites can be, but showcases its power and finesse quite well in daiquiris or even neat (give it some time to breath, and you will be rewarded).
I like it a lot. Expertly blended to make something unique, and delicious.

Light funk/ hogo and peppery burn. Aroma of sweet corn and fruitiness of mango from the glass.

Slightly heavier in body for a white rum with a light funk, oily and grassy notes which is quite a surprise. Guava and tartness of sour mango towards complement the funky notes.

It finishes with a touch of burn from alcohol. Fruitiness of guava and banana lingering but it didn't last long.

Great for mixing or on its own.

O vůni není ani řeči - nejblíž to má k lepší vodce.
Dark tomu přidá voňavost a chuť, 3 Stars jemnost a sladkost.

That was my first white rum and I rate it average. I was drinking version Plantation Original Dark Double Aged and tested me better as the white.

Ok so it's not a sipping rum cause it's white.... Or is it? When you hold this rum up to light you'll notice a very off clear color almost between a light and a white rum. The taste neat is fruitful, although strong, it is nowhere near that of any white I have come across, in fact it's better then a lot of "dark" rums when it comes to its ability to be sipped. Mixed is where it shines beautiful in mojitos and even better in coke. Right now this has been my go to for cocktails.

Good suprise with this white Plantation rum. Floral notes with brown sugar, this rum is very sweet and alcohol is subtle. Sugar cane and sweet vanilla are coming on finish. Great one !

A full-flavored, multi-dimensional light rum. Very different from your average, vodka-like light rum which has been mass-produced in factories. It's actually pretty tasty straight up, but mixed with lime and sugar and ice, it makes outstanding classic Daiquiris. Wonderful.
