Good suprise with this white Plantation rum. Floral notes with brown sugar, this rum is very sweet and alcohol is subtle. Sugar cane and sweet vanilla are coming on finish. Great one !

A full-flavored, multi-dimensional light rum. Very different from your average, vodka-like light rum which has been mass-produced in factories. It's actually pretty tasty straight up, but mixed with lime and sugar and ice, it makes outstanding classic Daiquiris. Wonderful.

Keenly vibrant and well balanced. Delicate notes of tropical fruits interwined with brown sugar and ripe banana. On the palate it displays subtle spices and floral notes with a finish of sugar cane and vanilla. Highly recommended!

Clean, but not too dry with a smooth light sweet citrus flavor. In my home it's 15 to 1 dark rum to white rum, but Plantation 3 Stars stil earns a regular turn in the glass. Affordable, sippable, mixable. white rum. Well done.

sugar test- 12g

I give it only a rating of 7 as i enjoy my rums straight up,even without an icecube. To me, a rum needs to be enjoyable that way. Well,if i'd rate white rums it would be a 10! Despite its young age its an excellent rum,in the nose a bit medical, but in the mouth and throat a great, sweety rum .Sugar cane, honey,a very little bite. Let's don't forget ,this isn't a white rum,it's aged 3years and filtered so it lost its original(probably straw-yellow) color. I did't mix it,but it probably is the bomb . I enjoy it pure and am impressed. For this price,go for it,either way you won't be disappointed. Probably a perfect mixer and if you fancy to try a white rum straight up-this is the way it should be

I had the pleasure of tasting this for the first time in the Bahamas at Rum Bahamas. It won 1st place for the whites there for good reason. It is very clean and tastes great. I have loved each release from Plantation, but was curious how they would do whites. I was not disappointed.

Can be sipped but this is not where it shines.
As a white cocktail rum, it is above the rest.
My absolute favorite daiquiri rum.

This rum is wonderful on all fronts with about 22/1L. It has some nice fruit notes, a velvety palette and mixes like no other. A wonderful gift for helping friends enter the rum space and can work in anything. Will never say no to planation (even when I often choose worse rums for the sake of exploration).

A surprising treat at $25/bottle. Great lightly chilled, and fantastic for cocktails. This is what you make your daiquiris and mojitos with for friends that you like.

This one surprised me, all the white rums I had so far, have nothing on it!

The nose hit me like a brick, when I opened the bottle, a lot of molasses, dried plums(?), charcoal and some alcohol and fruitiness. Like really strong aroma.

The taste pretty much the same, strong, with lots of sugar, molasses, plums, charcoal and a bit of alcohol. Not harsh, but very sweet, heavy and a bit of a burn at the end.

Some time after the bottle was opened the alcohol burn is a bit less but still there, taste and nose still going strong. Even thought every thing is a bit overwhelming I would definitely buy again. This one is not as mellow and fruity as the Matusalem Platino, but both have a place in my heart.

p.s. Would've given it a "9", but it;s a bit overwhelming, so "8" it is.

Cheers!
