it mixes very well with Coke. I usually squeeze a half lime per drink to cut through the excess sweetness. Play some nice Latino dancing music and you are in heaven.

Strangely this rum is lower rated than I expected.

è forse il rum commerciale per eccellenza. Quasi imbevibile da solo per il pessimo bilanciamento alcolico, acquista senso con cola e ghiaccio. Improponibile.

Sweet and flavorfull, some cocoa and it is fruity... However not very pleasant taste. One can drink it neat but it is actually for mixing.

The price predicts what you will get. Nothing special but OK.

The nose is light vanilla, butter and bananas, on the palate it is surprisingly smooth for 2 to 5 years old rum composition, with quite sweet taste profile of caramel and vanilla, surprisingly there is only traces of sugar added (below 5g/l), there is a little alcohol burn, in the aftertaste you can find toffee and butter. For this price this is a lovely Venezuelan, which can be sipped or mixed
