Pampero Aniversario was first crafted in 1963 to commemorate the Pampero company’s 25th anniversary. The rum is a blend of rums ranging in maturity from four to six years and aged in whisky and bourbon barrels.
The Pampero distillery was founded by Alejandro Hernández of Venezuela in 1938. The brand is now a division of the world’s largest liquor holding company, Diageo.

love venezuelan stuff.and this for the price is awesome.smoothe nice flavour.decent flavour.
very underrated i think.you can get this for 20 euros wtf.buy it.
Really nice to sip, but even stronger cacao taste than the especial, not always easy to handle.
This rum has eveeything what good rum should have. Good balance. Deep, warming, complex. Just one or two levels of sweetness too much. Very good however.
It doesn't work for me. At all. Definitely not for sipping.
Good to share... And on the rocks it's nice not on my top list
Just the right amount of texture. Good amount of oak and with a smooth finish. Taste buds just dance after each swallow. Good one to buy for Christmas for an important client... who still calls you by the wrong name
Pampero Anniversario spreads a well rounded flavour while drinking however it is a little too sharp in the finish for my taste.
Quite light and buttery.
"It’s a pleasant nose which suggests good ageing and there is a light oak to the nose which is well balanced."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I’ve had several bottles of this Rum, and the quality appears to be different.
Here‘s how the latest one tastes (bottled in Italy):
Nose: some oak and caramel, but pretty shy.
Palate: rather thin, but comes with a nice taste from the barrel and some hints of leather. Not much volume, but less disappointing than the last bottle.
Unfortunately it‘s colored.
3 Years earlier:
This rum starts with a pretty sharp and harsh alcohol smell, but there are some hints of caramel and oak in between.
Also the taste is pretty sharp, has a touch of spiritus, but always combined with those hints of vanilla, toffee, caramel and oak. Interesting, but I miss the volume and the balance in it.
