Lovely packaging, leather pouch and all. Overall an enjoyable sipper, found it had a strong start and ending, the flavors came out more in the after taste.

Value for money rum, which you can buy in Italy for only 18 euro. Off course not the best, but more than descent

I love the bottle, and despite the young age (i think a blend of 6-7year old rums) its a perfect daily sipper. A little afterburn tho,not too sweet,a real venezuelan.After 2 bottles devoured, more will follow

Good rum that presents well in its leather bag. I always bring to parties. It looks good and just about everyone likes the taste. Personally I find it a bit on the fake sweet side.

Son nez c'est franc, arômes de cuir vieux, fort puissant.
Très doux en bouche, long et rond.

i am torn on this rum, the first thing I always do is smell the bottle right after popping the cork, for me this rum smelled astringent and tannic. In tasting the rum I find it sweet but kind of woody. I am trying to decide if I love it or hate it.

I saw this nice bottle (packaged in a leather sack) on a trip to Spain and since I never tried a Pampero before I didn't need a lot encouragement to pick it up. After pouring me a glass of the red copper fluid, a smell of baked goods hits me first. After a moment, the vanilla comes true joined by some fruity tones. Smokey enough to get me interested. After tasting I found it just a little bit too heavy on the tongue to taste real complexity. I don't think the rum fully lived up to my expectations after smelling it, but this probably has more to do with the fact that I particularly like the smell of it. I definitely enjoyed this Pampero and think it's a good value (I payed around 22 euros) rum.

Thus rum comes in a leather pouch, which looks great. The taste is just sweet enough to my taste, but a bit short.
