I got mine in a box without the pouch. Not giving it away so no problem. Initially it stings a bit, you can feel the alcohol, but after a second the full flavour appears. Not a favourite but a solid rum.

Great looking packaging with the leather pouch. It's a decent rum but for me it lacks body and depth of flavor. It's almost too smooth.

The leather bag is reason why you will buy this rum. This one will not hurt you but you can buy better ones for the price.

Some green aromas in the nose with wood char, oak and vanilla. Quite fun to nose and smell, but still not a sipper for me. Tobacco and Toffee flavors yet overall "high-toned" in the finish then some alcohol kicks in, so not the smoothest on my pallet. Great as one of the 2 or 3 rums to use in Mai Tai or other Tikki drink.

Nice colour, good odour and good taste. Very nice rum.

Dark bronze or leather color, with aroma of vanilla, caramel, brown sugar and toffee. On the palate vanilla is present with woody notes. Soft and round the leather arrives on a medium finish with the alcohol that remains present but without taking the top. Nice packaging.

Beautiful design with the leather pocket and beautiful barell like bottle. Flavour is tasty, full and spicy. I like this rum very much

full boddied rum with smooth flavour for excellent price. Must have for all rum lovers, perfect for those who want explore different tastes at the beginning of their rum period..

It has a smooth taste... you can drink it alone or combined with coke.. a bit pricy for what it is
