This isn't a great bottle to me but people should try it for the nostalgia. I think it's underproofed and would prefer it not be chill filtered. The age and profile are what you'd expect from a ECS but just seems thin.
This is also the same as Foursquare ECS 1998
Sweet light taste, not really complex but still fine taste. This is superb sipper. Flowery sweet taste sipper.
Nose: gentle and light aroma, candy floss. Some hints of wheat, maybe some citrus and young apple in the background.
Taste: Light and a little bit weak, however, special in a good way. The taste comes with a cereal character again and develops over time, ending with bitter/spicy oak wood. The rum is more dry than sweet. This is beneficial for the taste here (from my point of view). All in all quite strong alcohol for just 40 Vol.%
