Like most other reviewers I was hesitant because of the gimmick. However, as with the Ron de Jeremy brand, the product is no joke. Wouldn't recommend for sipping, which is expected at the price range, but it is wicked in a mix with coke.
Has a real medicinal smell and taste to it that takes ages to leave. Not recommended as a drink to enjoy. More as a punishment.
This rum is meant for mixing and not to be sipped. Good for a rum and cola.

I’m not a massive fan of spiced rums, I have to admit, because I just can not get along with fiery, intense spices like pepper, ginger and cloves for example. With Peaky Blinder Black Spiced Rum, however, although it’s got a harsh alcohol burn when drank neat and quite a heated kick in the aftertaste I don’t actually mind it. That’s because it’s got plenty of sweetness coming through from the vanilla and the nutmeg, to counterbalance the strong aftertaste from the cloves. Mixed with Coca-Cola this rum gets a little sweeter, but much more importantly, the coke calms down the intensity of the strong spices which give this rum its potency. Making Peaky Blinder in my humble opinion a very good choice if you fancy a Spiced Rum, especially when A)for £22, it represents good value for money and B)if you have a sweet tooth and regardless of what type of rum you fancy, it still needs to taste sugary.
Similar to Kraken and greake with coke or with coctail. Good flavour and medium sweet
I thought of this as a gimmick to the series, but it has a surprisingly nice taste. Nice sweetness and has the typical raisins taste that I like a lot in rum. Very smooth with no burn in the end. I also like the dark color of it. All and all a very nice sipper.
For his price it's The secon after "dead man finger".
Hint of oak spice and quite a sharp hit of alcohol.
"Up front it offers a quick sharp burst of sweetness. Followed by a fade of bitterness."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
