I bought two Bacardi rums at the same time: one aged 8 years and the other 4 years. I actually liked, personal preference of course, the flavor of the 4-year best. Both are nice and affordable for the sipping which I practice daily. One can spend a lot of money for really great sipping rum, but I like having a nice tasting, reasonably smooth gold around for rehearsals.
Typical Bacardi mixer, you could sip it neat, but not recommended. It will find a market for rum and coke drinkers but really doesn’t have much else going for it.
Tried once, but won’t be buying again.
Enjoyed a bottle of Bacardi Añejo Cuatro 4y Rum while vacationing in Antibes. Pretty decent label design and a nice sturdy bottle. Golden color. Strong alcohol, artificial vanilla extract and wood to the nose and palate. Another Bacardi product which simply is not a neat sipper.
