Thanks so much for submitting a report. It has been emailed to the Rum Captain and will be actioned shortly.
Beautiful deep mahogany color. The nose is on candied fruits macerated with notes of prunes, we also detect solvent and gunpowder ? After aeration, we arrive at a more complex rum with nuts, almonds. On the palate, it's very greedy, pastry with almond, honey, waffles, always fruits. it's very complex. We arrive on spices. The final is moderately long but disappointing. It's flat, metallic with nuts, it glues on the mouth and the final is on pepper that covers everything. It was going well but we may have reached the end of these magnificent barrels brought back by Gargano and colleagues. To want to wait too long before bottling them, these rum may have reached their limits.
