Smells and tastes like grappa more then anything else. There are better grappa and better runs out there. Alcoholic and industrial. From 24 rums selection with S.

Kryddor och vanilj i doften. Lite pepprig i smaken, salmiak. Kort eftersmak.

Relatively sweet, the taste lingers and is very enjoyable. has a little burn but no need for coke. A nice addition down the line for the price and I love the look of this bottle!

Copied from marketing -
Another in the series of extraordinary European produced rums made by Zuidam distillery, based in Baarle Nassau. This rum was produced using a low temperature, extremely long fermentation process, lasting two weeks. This produces a flavoursome low wine, which shows off the fruity sweetness of the molasses that Zuidam use. The rum is distilled in a copper pot still, rather than the column stills. Whilst columns stills are more efficient and produce a purer spirit, pot stills create a rum of great flavour, demonstrating Zuidam’s commitment to quality over quantity. This rum has been aged for three years in a variety of casks, including: Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso sherry and heavily charred virgin American oak barrels. This combination creates a rum of singularly complex and deep flavour.

Nosing
Smells like scotch whisky , oaks and raisins dominate the nose

Taste
Mellow malt barley and chocolate rice crispy cake flavour ... it's very sweet on the platte

Tastes like a caramel syrup on the finish

Too sweet for me feels like the diplomatico scale

There are plenty better dark rums but it’s nice to taste a Dutch

Very strong taste and good aroma. The tast is funky and with a scent of vanilla. Good for my 1st time of Rum

Es gibt so viele Rums, diesen braucht man nicht, typischer Mittelfeld-Rum ohne Talent.

Smell of blackberry. Heavy vanilla. Fine but not very exciting.

Sharp taste and keeps a long pallet in the mouth. Probably not for everybody.
