Contadora Premium Reserva 15-Year

had some break from rums and after several months tonight I really enjoyed this one, sweet just enough, fruity just enough, bit of orange and vanilla (in a distant way it reminds me of Don Papa 7yo but thats too fruity for me) fruity on nose as well with close to zero alcohol smell, minimal to none afterburn on tongue, nice surprise, by description a real 15yo rum, one of my new favorites, great sipper, looking forward to re-taste

Whats in that beautiful wooden box which comes with this rum? Its not a head surprisingly. Its a rum, and pretty good one.

Smell: A lot of vanilla and chocolate, some coconuts or something like that

Taste: Vanilla, sweetness, chocolate, a bit of alcoholic burn but not too much

I would recomend this to anyone. For its price it is pretty good rum worth the money it costs. And get yourself a box if you can.

Sweet but not too much. Strong aroma. Long (vanilla) aftertaste.

sweet but a little bit too flat, nice warming as it goes through your throat, it fades of with time

Intensive aroma of sugar cane, first taste is kick of sweet caramel. Long aftertaste with chocolate, vanilla, chocolate and coconut tones, but the body is not so complex.

Vanilla, chocolate taste, longer aftertaste, sweeter end. Trace of oak. Not bad.

Rumy Contadora jsou pro ty, kteří hledají zastřenou komplexnost, aspoň já to tak vnímám. Testoval jsem zatím 10y, 12y, 15y verze kde za vítěze beru Contadoru 12y.
