Tasty, but not quite great

White rum is not normally my thing and my preference lies towards the molasses rums, not the cane sugar agricole variety, so this is way out of my preference. The fruity flavours do slightly redeem the strong dry overtones for me.

The nose tells you to expect cloyingly sweet honey, the body is actually grassy and rough agricole. It burns and is not anywhere near the refinement of properly aged rum, nevertheless it is an interesting experience.

I am firmly in the rum is made from molasses camp. Cachaca isnt rum. Its rhum agricole i suppose which also isnt rum. So in other words im not a fan of cachaca either. This is pretty decent all that said. Very floral nose, lot's of sugar cane and grape leaves. The taste is a lot of burn and then bananas foster - lots of butter and cooked bananas.

Very pleasant nose, herbal notes, but dominated by aromas of ripe fruit and white pepper.
Banana and guava strike the palate, long mouthfeel for a white cachaça, with spicy vanilla and that distinct flavour of sugarcane lingering. You could argue that it is slightly less elegant than the top end rhums agricole, but the rich aromas of this bottle brings something je-ne-sais-quoi to the competition that really stands out. It is like a nod towards the very best white, Italian liqueurs. No lime and sugar is required to enjoy this one.

I’m not very expirienced in the world of cachaca, but this is by far the best i’ve had. The nose is so inviting with lush notes of freshly crushed sugarcane, cutt grass and honeydew melon. It makes a killer caipirinha of course but it’s actually so good that I feel it can be enjoyed neat, especially if your into good white rhum agricole, as there’s some similarities. If you wanna drink it neat, you’re rewarded with smooth floral notes of sugarcane, melon and white pepper ending on a slightly dry finish. Get some.

Best cachaca I ever tasted! I just love the nose, the notes of fresh sugarcane and even a hint of banana...
So pure and good, no risk of a hangover even after a couple of glasses...

Abelha has the true expression of a good Brazilian Cachaça. Brazil has incredible cachacas but only industrial ones we find in Europe. This is the best artesanal product available

I'm not useallly cahaca fan but this stuff is delicious, very fruity flavours of a white style rum.i was bought it for a present and will probably restock it into my rum cupboard as it's something different.

The best Brazilian cachaca I have come across in the UK. It has a floral, fruit nose like fresh sugar cane, bananas, stone fruits and an incredible purity. On the palate is very smooth and it has a dry finish!
I tried not only caipirinha but other cocktails and though own it own tastes perfect!

I know you're supposed to make caipirinhas when you drink cachaca but this stuff is perfectly delicious all on its own. Lots of earthy, vegetal aromas come through in the tasting. The initial alcohol scent quickly fades into cream and spice. The finish is quick, leaving you ready for more. Your suddenly empty glass demands a refill...
