Manutea Blanc 40

Funky, glue, flower aroma; decent sweet start, very light fruit, technical body, licorice; short tail.

Un bon petit blanc mais tirant quasi uniquement sur le citron vert. Pas encore au niveau des rhums blancs des Antilles (c'est normal) mais une distillerie à surveiller, le bout du monde dans votre verre !

N- Fresh pressed sugar cane juice, heavy dose of crushed pandan leaf, utterly grassy overcast the underlying cigar box and cedar wood, hints of tobacco smokes. (21/25)

P- Reasonably beefy on body at 40%, charred smoked and sweet honey glazed grilled meats, earthy grassy notes prevail for a complex vegetal mouthfeel, coconut husk, all good but wee heavy flat sweetness developed at the tail. (20/25)

F- Medium-long, the nice savoury element gone hiding, with coconut infused vanilla cream emerged that make the finishing elementary. (18/25)

Balanced:- Heavy and oily distillate from high quality crop, there are interesting element that I like, but would be great if the sweetness are restrain. Look forward to try the higher proof. (19/25)
