Barely drinkable, gasoline-like
I've had a good laugh at the reviews. I REALLY enjoyed this rhum! I forgot the name and had to search the internet to find it because I would like more. Sadly I can't find it in Australia, I bought this bottle duty free in Papua New Guinea.
I drank it straight and mixed with Pepsi, coke and ginger beer and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I have been drinking Negrita since 1970 when I came to S.A.both neat and with mix I find it rich and tasty with plenty body for my likes and find it smooth and presentable in any form.
One of the rums that got me to this road, still getting a bottle of this every now and then. For me i guess it is more of an situation where im used to drink this because ive drank a whole lot of this stuff few years back..
Not the nest yeah, but not the most expensive either and very easy to drink considering the price.. I like the amount of fruit flavours we have here, color is a bit pale for my taste but overall nice bottle when u dont want to spend 50€ over one night of drinking.
I ever tried. All round not a bad rum to be honest. Much maligned. Very cheap!
Not bad for Agricole style and very inexpensive
Avec 6-7€ en poche le choix de rhum est assez limité... Et même si le negrita à la réputation d'être un rhum à crêpe, il passe mieux en bouche que la casi totalité des rhum à moins de dix balles que j'ai pu goûter.
I think it's a good rum for doing cocktails. My favorite is Fidel Castro - Rum, ginger ale and lime.
Good for drinks/cocktails no more then that.
