Negrita Bardinet Signature Dark 2-Year

Cheap and without any mayor flavor profiles, works fine with coke

As the decription says "On Fire," This rum is dark in color but not on the palate with a strong alcoholic burn. Not much body but a dark burner none the less.

This is another rum that I used as a youngster to mix my rum and coke. I remember that I liked this better than the white ones.

Un ron bastante justito incluso para beberlo en mezclas.

Low cost cooking rum, good enough for punch, pancakes or fruit salads.

Found a dusty bottle of this in the back of the closet. Thought i'd try it, for the sake of rating it. Yeah, it's not good... Quite bitter and medicinal. No sweetness. Very floral/herby but not in a good way. Like chewing on bark, leaves and nettles. Impossible to drink straight without making a face. Might suit some cocktails, but certainly didn't go well with the 7-up I poured on it.

Nose: vegetal, grassy agricol-ish.
Palate: harsh and sharp, but also slightly sweet. Strange, but warm and long lasting.
Probably blended, maybe even with non-agricoles.
I had worse.
