42% ABV. Aged in oak and castanhera (chestnut) for an indeterminate number of years, but probably 2. Copper pot distilled. Delicate nose. Very delicate, but inviting. It says, "get closer." Briny, but less so than the standard barrel-aged. Gets brinier, then mellower.
Decent for mixing; not a great sipper IMO. If I tried this again side-by-side with the standard barrel-aged, I don't think I would be able to tell the difference.
