I think "Flawed with a glimmer of hope" describes this rum very well. It tastes too much like nail polish remover and not enough like the butterscotch its website advertises. It has a base sweetness but doesn't have the complexity I'd want from even a 5 or a 6. But this distillery does some very good work on whiskeys, so I hope that they will be able to turn this brand around in the future.
