Bavaro Black

Enjoyed a bottle of Bavaro Black Ultra Premium while chilling out in Puerto Plata. Rather nice rectangular bottle and label design. Very dark color. Quite sweet but very mature flavors to the nose. More sweetness, honey, some vanilla and more intense flavors to the palate. Hardly any burn, but a very pleasant lingering of high quality aged dark rum flavors.

Aroma: Mléčná čokoláda, marcipán, cedr, broušená kůže, lékořice, badyán. (90 b)
Chuť: Jemný, decentní a vyzrálý, příjemně nasládlý. Belgické pralinky, lesní med, sladké koření. V dochuti anýz a propolis. (88 b)
Body: 89/100
Shrnutí: Pohodový, relaxační kousek, s nákupem lahve jsem spokojen, ale kdyby bylo vyšší procento alkoholu, mohl být zážitek ještě lepší.

Smells and tastes of caramel and sugar with a hint of chocolate and vanilla. A nice rum for the money!

Tento rum jsem nedávno ochutnal u jednoho známého. Překvapila mne už jeho nenásilná vůně po skořici, vanilce a kávě. Velice dobře se pije a tak se nedivím, že při mé další návštěvě ubylo z láhve podstatné množství.

This rum has a nice taste, sweet, vanilla, little bit of chocolate... Seems a bit creamy on the tongue. Very good one!

This blend made of 12 to 25 yo rums is dark, with aroma of vanilla and something sweet, perhaps some fruit, and chocolate.
After being in a glass for a while, the aroma of vanilla and fruit seems to somehow disappear with its little wild spirit, leaving you with rum of smooth sweetness, full body and taste of chocolate.

Maybe a little too sweet, but worth it.
