Me gusta mucho este ron dulce y añejo, yo lo prefiero tomar combinado con Coca-Cola, sin embargo sabe bien con soda y un poco de limón... olores a frutas plátano, casi no sabe alcohol, ron para primerizos

at a shop I saw Rammstein rum, asked if the guy if he knew the rum. He said that people who bought it, told it wasn't a good rum. Instead the Prohihido 22 yrs would be a better choice. Saw rhe review after i bought it and was a bit curious. Was it the right choice? Don't think the choice was wrong. It isn't a very good rum, but I like it. Easy to drink.

The El Prohibida Reserva was a bit of a surprise to me, as it was much more flavourful than the regular premium sipping rums. It is a very dark coloured rum and the flavour is a sharp treacle with a roasted sweetness, joined by clear notes of chocolate and coffee. This is likely due to additives or very flavourful barrels used for aging, perhaps the barrels were burnt inside, but it doesn't really detract from it at all!

Rum tasting in Cozumel continues with Ron Prohibido Reserva 22. Unique bottle and label design. Dark golden color. Oak, cherries, oak, peaches and a bit more oak to your nose and palate when neat sipped. Dry, woody and short burn at the end. Expensive mixer rum at $42 per bottle. Nasty cherry ending.

It starts with sweet taste of peach, followed by very bitter tones, it fades off with time, strong alcoholic aftertaste.

N- Quite heavy on caramel, herbs, vanilla, sandalwood and spiced milk tea. Roasted red apple with edgy creaminess and some salty tang. Acceptable aroma but appeared subdue and heavy and sluggish. (79/16)

P- Dried fruits, lemon custard, plummy and buttery. More tart fruits that stays with cloudy nuance. (82/17)

F- Short-medium, spices, much like a solera, gingery sweet. (80/17)

B/B- 81/17. Was a solera indeed after a 2nd look on the retro-styled label, common trick for rum labeling, large numeric font with tiny words....

Une belle découverte. Très bon rapport qualité-prix.

In der Nase sehr würziger Rum, leichter und milder Abgang.Nicht lange im Gaumen nachhaltig.
Im großen und ganzen Preis / Leistung Ok.
