The Neisson Profile 105 is an anniversary Agricole Rhum from Martinique, which was stored in "zebra" barrels made of American white oak barrels and French oak barrels. The 105 stands for the degree of roasting of the barrels. The limited edition comes in a typical Neisson bottle.

In the nose the Rhum shows intense classic Agricole notes. Lots of grass and hay. A freshly mowed meadow with fresh citrus fruits. Add some sweetness to that. Those who like Agricole notes will love it. On the palate, the Rhum starts with classic Agricole again. You get floral and fruity notes and some sweetness comes too. Virgin Oak with vanilla. The rhum becomes a little more spicy with roasted aromas. Light smoke. The finish is long and roasted Agricole notes remain for a long time. The alcohol is noticeable and warms but does not disturb the taste world of the rhum.

The Neisson 105 is a very classic Agricole. Especially in the nose it is very intense. Well balanced and full-bodied, it is very tasty if you like Agricole. If not, you should invest your money elsewhere. For me the Rhum is top and not expensive.

Der Neisson Profil 105 ist ein Jubiläums Agricole Rhum aus Martinique, welcher in "Zebra" Fässern aus amerikanischen Weißeichefässern und französischen Eichenfässern gelagert wurde. Die 105 steht für den Grad der Röstung der Fässer. Die limitierte Abfüllung kommt in einer Neisson typischen Flasche. Genauere Angaben zu dem Rhum habe ich auf die Schnelle nicht gefunden.

Der Rhum zeigt in der Nase intensive klassische Agricole Noten. Viel Gras und Heu. Eine frisch gemähte Wiese mit saftigen Zitrusfrüchten. Dazu kommt etwas Süße. Wer Agricole Noten mag wird sich hier nicht Satt riechen können. Am Gaumen ist der Rhum am Anfang wieder klassisch Agricole. Blumig, fruchtig kommt etwas Süße dazu. Virgin Oak mit Vanille. Der Rhum wird etwas würziger mit Röstaromen. Leichter Rauch. Der Abgang ist lang und es bleiben geröstete Agricole Noten lange bestehen. Der Alkohol ist merkbar und wärmt aber stört nicht die Geschmackswelt des Rhums.

Der Neisson 105 ist ein sehr klassischer Agricole. Besonders in der Nase ist er sehr intensiv. Gut ausbalanciert und vollmundig ist er sehr lecker, wenn man Agricole mag. Wenn nicht, sollte man sein Geld anderweitig investieren. Ich finde den Rhum für unter 50 Euro top.

Couleur : entre un bel or soutenu et auburn,
Belle viscosité, un côté bien gras,
Nez : le premier nez est assez vif, sur l’alcool, un côté piquant ! Le second nez permet de percevoir des notes herbacées, légèrement épicée (poivre), boisée et des notes de caramel brûlé :-)
Bouche : c’est tout d’abord chaud et vif, ensuite se développent des notes épicées, légèrement amères (chocolat noir) et des notes fraîches de canne à sucre :-)
Finale : bien longue, côté frais, mentholé et épicé (poivre piquant) !

A tester, un rhum très bien foutu à un prix réduit :-)

Ce rhum mélange des parfums et goûts d’agrume, café et épices, sucré mais en restant vif et sec au niveau alcool : un bon équilibre qui permet de le boire nature, mais également en ti punch (de luxe)

Honnête. On est clairement entre le neisson blanc a 52.5 et le vieux a 45.
La sucrosité du blanc et son alcool. Et l'intégration du vieux avec son fut et sa douceur.
Payé 37€50 en Fr. Au dessus de 50€ c trop.

Neisson Profile 105 - 54.2% ABV, yet the label says 80 proof. Accoring to my sources, they used zebra casks of American and French oak, which may or may not be AOC certifiable.

This Neisson is super different than the unaged ones. Incredibly tame, warm, and caramel-y. The palate offers much more in the way of agricole notes. Also cola and wood. A great agricole channeling bourbon. Touch of cherry. You wouldn't want to bottle this at a much lower proof.

Rhum assez complexe laissant un arrière goût de café. Il m'a fait penser a un whisky.
Par contre je l'ai trouvé un peu trop raide et pas assez rond.

Beautiful bronze colour going to gold. On the nose, it is very pastry, candied fruit, plum, prunes, nuts, almond. Woody, vanilla. Brown sugar, brown sugar. In the mouth, a nice attack with vanilla, the woody side and pastry always present. Nice length in the mouth with a long finish on spices, pepper. It's very hot. Nice rum. Good surprise.
