Great aromas, no added sugars, sweet but just right. I recommend it neat!!
This rum is really a surprise for me, good color, delicious aftertaste with a tastes of with flavors of fruit and vanilla!
This one has all the marks of a sipping aged rum, but there's a smokiness that just doesn't sit right with the balance of flavors here. It's clear they sweeten it (a touch - this ain't Kraken), and the coloring may be added... their website is a little unclear, and for a mass-marketing rum which appears in Mexican big box stores, I'm not so sure how purely represented the diamante cane is showcased here. All that said, it makes for a great aged rum in a tiki cocktail or punch, and is OK on the rocks. At 40%, you're not going to feel a lot of heat, but the flavor is good, with slight reminders of Mexico's volcanic landscape as a signature of the terrior's fertile grounds.
The bottle design and marketing - overall brand - are pretty good, if not a little aspirational, but if it's going to attempt to make a bigger dent in the rum market we'd like to know a little more about the process and integrity of the rum.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This is an excellent solera system rum from Veracruz, México, soft on the palate and with contained sweetness. Traces of vanilla, wood and caramel. It seems to me a very well balanced rum and with an excellent value for money.
I like to drink it neat or on the rocks There is always a bottle at home
