Sweet petrol taste with very distinctive turnip-cabbage (kedluben) taste with hints of peat and oil. This is so strange taste for the rum. Very. As I rated 7/10 aka "reccomenden for most" this is not for most. Whisky drinkers can appreciate that, or rum drinkers in search of uncommon.
Another of perfect agricole rhums, full of aromas - spices, cherries, toffee (a little bitter)... you can smell all the tones, when you taste you enjoy various palates... just a perfect choice!
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Clearly St. Lucia in the nose also similarities with TDL. I know this smell from the RA Chairmans Master Select. It has also some similarities with Fiji rum. Could be John Dore No. 1 and the Vendome pot still.
Nose: Grains, salted melon, honey, medical notes, vanilla and bright wood. It's a little bit too sharp.
Good for Fiji lovers.
Taste: Starts salty and sweet with melon flavors and some honey. Some bitter notes (medical) are in the background. The spiciness increases towards the middle, I get Fiji aromas now, honey, vanilla, pepper and more medical notes in combination. After it gets warm in the mouth I get grains and some dirty notes from Fiji like fermented fruits with petroleum.
The finish is spicy, fermented fruits with medical notes and pepper, some vanilla and wood.
This is a sharp rum with heavy profile like the RA Chairmans. It will also please Fiji lovers very much.
I can enjoy this flavors, the complexity is good on the palet. In the nose it's a little bit too sharp.
