Mocambo Edición Aniversario

Anche per questo rum, sono rimasto attratto prima di tutto dalla bottiglia, di base quadrata, con vetro stranamente lavorato sui lati ed un effetto a scala nella parte superiore.
Bottiglia molto bella, anche se con qualche difettino, bolla nel vetro, ecc., colpa forse del controllo qualità non molto serio.
Questo rum, invecchiato massimo 10 anni con metodo solera, al profumo puo' ricordarmi il Pampero Aniversario Reserva Exclusiva, ci sento odore di legno.
Al palato pure sento sapore di legni, piacevole e non stucchevole.
Certo non colpisce per la complessità o varietà di aromi, ma rimane un buon rum.
La persistenza è media, e rimane un aroma di legni per alcuni minuti niente male.
Ecco, magari per oltre 40 euro a bottiglia c'è di meglio, ma c'è da dire a vantaggio del Mocambo Solera Edicion Aniversario 50 Anos che è piu' raro da trovare on line, rispetto ad altri rum piu' conosciuti.

Este ron añejado con la técnica de solera es aceptable, presenta un buen perlado, aunque el sabor podría mejorar, el contenido alcohólico es bueno. Puede disfrutarse solo, aunque para algunas personas sería mejor mezclarlo

Nice caramel aroma, taste very complex with wooden, chery and bourbon tones not sweet. Average aftertaste.

Il faut dire que le Mexique est pas le meilleur pays pour le rhum. Une senteur de caramel unique en son genre. Son gout très très boisé et épicé unique en son genre. On sent et goûte un peu le tabac. Un peu amer vers la fin.

Having just returned from Mexico, I would have to say that if you had a choice between this and Tequila, pick the Tequila. While this smells like rum and has a dark colour I am not sure it's from aging in barrels. It tastes burnt. Harsh nose and harsher taste. The bitter wood and burnt coffee tastes are predominant. I didn't like it, but others might. Go ahead and taste it, but you will want to mix it with something.
