Niet de originele, maar de Spiced Black ontbreekt in de lijst. Gekocht bij de Lidl in Duitsland, en een best okee, zachte rum voor in de cola.

bought this at my discounter supermarket for I believe €9, you cannot go wrong with it, in mixers or even neat.

I've never drank this in my life. It is exactly hand gel with the flavor of vanilla. It's just strange it's not sweet. But that vanilla makes it better. But it has a vodka-like bitter taste.
Remove the vanilla and you just have pure white vodka. Which is mixed with water. This one is really limp. The bottle is okay, nice nice label. Nothing good for the rest. This is just sleeping vodka with vanilla flavor, I miss that so-called spicy taste.

Captain Cook's Spiced Rum offers a delightful voyage for the taste buds, blending smoothness with a tantalizing array of spices. From the moment the bottle is uncorked, a warm aroma envelops the senses, promising a voyage into the heart of Caribbean flavors.

Upon pouring, the liquid glides into the glass, its amber hue hinting at the richness within. The first sip is a revelation—a symphony of vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg dances across the palate, perfectly balanced and never overwhelming. The rum's smooth texture caresses the tongue, inviting you to savor each sip.

What sets Captain Cook's apart is its versatility. Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as the star of a cocktail, it delivers a consistently excellent experience. Mixed with cola, it creates a classic spiced rum and coke with an extra layer of complexity. Alternatively, pair it with ginger beer for a refreshing twist on the traditional Dark and Stormy.

The finish is long and satisfying, leaving behind a lingering warmth that beckons for another taste. Crafted with care and attention to detail, Captain Cook's Spiced Rum is a testament to the artistry of rum-making. It's a must-have addition to any liquor cabinet, sure to impress both seasoned enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

Set sail on a flavor-filled adventure with Captain Cook's Spiced Rum—smooth sailing awaits.

I was going out at night with a lot of distress in my mind. I opened up this very pristine looking bottle of rum , and at the worst moment i took a sip of it and i blacked out when i woke up in the snow my hands were shaking and i could see santa close delivering presents to my house

Nice for Cuba libre, golden rum. Also great iced from the freezer. Neat

From the Lidl shelf.
This alcohol is a disgrace to the word rum.
Luscious taste. Also not suitable for cocktails.

Because it is realy hard to drink this until so drunk. Even though it is only 35% smell is like ethyl alcohol diluted with vanilla water to the point it is strongly bitter on a tongue. Leaves aftertaste easily comparable with vodka. Mix it with cola only wastes cola. Would recomend only to the tongueless degenerates with undamaged liver. Why 2 if it is so bad? Well I like vanilla, even if it is concentrated to the level of bitterness.

Yet to try this as it was given as a gift. But it looks good and is fairly cheap.

Very pale rum. Strong vanilla aroma upfront then an alcohol aroma hits you.
The taste follows the aroma, you get an initial vanilla hit then a strong alcohol and mild spice flavour as it lengthens.

I prefer to drink rum neat, but this is better with a good quality cola or ginger ale.
