Assertive yet smooth. Caribbean accents with Central American personality. Difficult to describe precisely but to this palate it’s a definite keeper. Subtle flavors emerge… cinnamon, clove plus aromas of freshly crushed cane. It’s a matter of taste and will probably differ from palate to palate but this is an intriguing, multifaceted spirit from a hard to pin down distiller who’s doing things right.
Wow. Tastes like comparable $40-50 rums. I got it for $24, well well worth it. If you can find it you'll make this your go to rum. It's great. If it was $40+ I'd waste time explaining it's flavor more. Give it a whirl little fella
Bacoo is a nice smooth, slightly sweet rum. It's not overly sweet, and has a slight oaky flavor while avoiding a harsh afterburn. It's an overall balanced rum that's an easy buy for those after work occasions. I recommend it for a try.
These guys should be charging $20-25 more a bottle than they are. Buy this fantastic rum up before they realize it! I wholeheartedly agree with the gentleman below who nominated this rum as the rookie of the year!
Good rhum 👍 *****хороший ром по хорошей цене *****
Smooth and sweet rum but and the headache the next day. Most likely from the high added sugar content.
This is a decent familiar tasting Dominican Rum. Nothing special about it, but good to sip on. Priced well @$30 for a 12 year. Definitely dosed with some sugar. Rum like this would greatly benefit from a higher proof bottling. It's good 👍.... probably won't buy it again though. Doesn't stand out among better DR Rums.
Excellent flavor. Definitely a sipping rum. Very impressed
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

This really is a great rum to nose in the glass. Oak and wood spices provide a nice backdrop for the sweet baking spices (vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves) and rich molasses that rises into the breezes above the glass. There are hints of spicy orange peel, and fresh citrus fruit which appear and disappear within the aroma.
Deep dark brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves and hints of orange peel and citrus fruit lay upon a foundation of oak and wood spices. Rich tobacco accents the flavour and some luscious dark fruit. The overall flavour is sweet but not overwhelmingly so, and a soft nuttiness lies under the other flavours giving the rum just a hint of bitterness which offsets that sweetness nicely.
Good stuff ...I’ve not seen it very often but it’s tasty and well worth having in a collection of quality rum
What I truly love about this rum is how I seem to like it just a little more every time I pour another glass. The flavours remain rich and strong but never cloying.
