I really should not expect much from the bottom-shelf cheap rums I find at various stores and I really should stop buying them out of some warped curiosity. Usually I end up regretting it. This is one of those times. Allegedly this is a rum from Barbados but I am not sure I buy that.
Anyway, the aroma is sort of weird for a spiced rum. That should be the first clue. Hard to describe. Not really a chemical sort of aroma but doesn't seem to be natural either. Honestly I can't pick out any specific aromas.
It is a light amber color and has a very thin consistency. Very little in terms of legs.
Flavor-wise, this is clearly a highly sugared rum with undertones that run heavy on vanilla. Has some pepperiness to it. Leaves a bad taste on the finish.
Better pass on this if something better like Bumbu or Siesta Key spiced rums are available.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Not very good. Better than Bacardi but not by much.
