Matusalem Gran Reserva 15-Year

Ein relativ preiswerter guter Rum. Für mich ein wenig bitter im Abgang, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Auf jeden Fall geeignet, ihn pur zu trinken. Und für den Preis fast ein Muss. Er hat seinen Stammplatz in meinem Regal gefunden.

This has sat in my cabinet for over a year and I have no memories associated with it...hmmmm...Ran out of Diplomatico Gran Reserva, so I had some of this and, well...virtually no flavor or umpf...don't waste your money...

Juste correct sans plus m'a servi d accompagnement avec un coca cola en fait des coca colas pour une soirée arrosée et une céphalée il y a plusieurs années, je ne suis pas rester marque par ce produit sucre correct... Cuba libre!!!

Its a good rum but not my best choice. I prefere litle more sweatness. Very good with dark choclate.

Too alcoholic for me but it's OK. A little expensive for what it offers . I using this rum to make my rum and coke.

This is a very drinkable rum. It is not complex. A hint of Caramel is the strongest feature. You will notice the alcohol smell. For me the smell was stronger than the taste. It is not a particularly sweet rum (I don't think a lot of sugar has been added - a big topic elsewhere on this site recently). It is also not a dry rum, so you don't get the heavy oak that pushes some rums closer to bourbons, either. Personally, for a few dollars less I'd select a bottle of Bacardi 8 (which has a more complex range of flavors) or Zaya (which is much sweeter and heavier on the vanilla. But make no mistake, if I received this as a gift, it would enthusiastically be put to good use!
