Mild balanced and unipressive rum. Easy to drink for but I prefer Dictador 12 y.o. for this price.

Мягкий, сбалансированный ничем не выразительный ром. Пьется легко, но за эту цену я предпочту Dictador 12.

I usually drink my rum with cola. I found this one to have a pleasant starting taste, but then there was something unexpected, and not really rum-like in the taste. It was disappointing as I have been really curious about this rum for many years. I probably won't buy it again.

I like it. Start is very strong, but and is so hot and pleasant.

The smell reminds me of Dzama vanilla. It is definitely a thinner rum with a bit of that flavour also present in dzama. Vanilla? Warm vanilla yes. Not too much finish but still a very enjoyable basic rum for a 15 year Solera. Especially given the cheaper price tag, ($34CAD). It didn't last too long!

Although not made in Cuba anymore, now in the Dominican Republic, this rum is great for making a Cuba Libre cocktail. It has hints of vanilla and sweetness of Toffee but it makes a great cocktail. It doesn't have a tobacco flavour like some Cuban rums but hey, it's not made in Cuba anymore!

Super simple, lacks character, though value for money is good.

A bit vegetative but also falls a wee bit flat in the flavour department. Smooth for the price but not as good as an offering as I thought Id be getting based on other Matusalem's Ive had. Still worth a purchase to try though, for sure.

Jó ár érték arányú belépő szintű ital a Dominikai rumok világába. Kellemes illat, selymes íz. Maradandót nem mutat,de egy baráti beszélgetéshez tökéletes lehet.

The rum hits the back of the throat with a rich ripe plum flavor suggesting some sort of fantastic chutney

By taste you can already tell this has experienced a longer aging than the average rum.
It has resulted in a more smooth experience through every sip, that never ceases to amaze me.
