Aroma of vanilla and dried fruit
Caramel, easy to go to and mild. However a little bit spirited.

Bra vardagsrom som faktiskt är riktigt prisvärd om man köper den utomlands.

This is a good rum. I see lots of bad reviews, but for a 15yr rum this is nice. Drink it straight, mix it. Sip it. It works for everything.

After all a good rum, not particularly structured with a pleasant hint of chocolate. Ideal to drink with friends, not for tasting.

This is a decent rum for a night with friends. Slightly superior to Pampero Aniversario. The expectations are high for a 15yo rum, and here they are not matched completely. The price is probably too high.

This is a very drinkable rum. It is not complex. A hint of Caramel is the strongest feature. You will notice the alcohol smell. For me the smell was stronger than the taste. It is not a particularly sweet rum (I don't think a lot of sugar has been added - a big topic elsewhere on this site recently). It is also not a dry rum, so you don't get the heavy oak that pushes some rums closer to bourbons, either. Personally, for a few dollars less I'd select a bottle of Bacardi 8 (which has a more complex range of flavors) or Zaya (which is much sweeter and heavier on the vanilla. But make no mistake, if I received this as a gift, it would enthusiastically be put to good use!

Tried this rum at Paladar Latin Kitchen and Rum Bar, which has several locations in the US. I found the rum quite enjoyable and would not hesitate to purchase a bottle if I find it in PA. Somewhat sweet and quite smooth.

I purchased on a lark and was pleasantly surprised by this lighter dark rum. I had straight up but would not recommend. It was delicious with cola...a nice froth and sweet finish. Good value too.

A really good starter rum for the beginner. I find it lacks the depth to hold up to other rums that are close in value. Some how I still find myself buying a bottle or two a year.

A straight Rum, very honest. Bit of smoke and strong liquor
