Here is resolution: it may be quality rum, yet does not taste as simple, as rum for the man could do, to impress. There is what's-not in the taste - vanilla and creme brulee, creme caramel and milk chocolate, all the things girls would love on Sunday. This was one money more, than my darling Angostura 7, thus I will not be at ease, until this bottle is done. Might do good to slow down passion for rum. OTOH, I may be looking for recipes of cakes, Tiramisu and such - this one would be perfect match, will do noble cake.

It's alright, but do not expect anything special. For the price there are plenty of better options. Good enough for sipping, sweet and just a little bit firey.

Run of the mill rum I guess. And a bit strong on the alcohol burn.

Good balance between alcohol and sweetness, good enough to sip or use it on a cocktail, great value!

Really an imminently sip-able rum - the second dram even better than the first one...

smells sweet but a bit to sharp a bit to unnatural. Same Milky warm creamy ness to the rum that makes it like drinking delicate vanilla silk. Simple elegant and lush. I love I love it I love it. So smooth and sugary but still has a kick. All the matusalem are very similar but this and the white are best. Ever so slightly bitter aftertaste that would improve with a better quality. 9

This is a steady effort but doesn’t quite hit the spot. The sweetness is there but with a spiced finish that lacks some refinement
