I don't know if this available outside Key West but grab a bottle if you can. Lots of flavors going on here...reminds me of the holidays (nutmeg? Cinnamon? Etc.)

I travel to the keys almost yearly and had to stop by this rum distillery. The tour is nice and the rum is pretty on point. While I don't think this compares to items like Plantation XO, it's fantastic in it's own way. This rum was made for the purpose of tasting like the holiday’s. Kind of at odds with the 90 degree weather down in the keys. But it’s still a quality rum with strong notes of cinnamon, coriander, lavender, nutmeg, leather and the like… It’s basically a Christmas rum that can be enjoyed neat, whenever you want. Not harsh at all.
If you get a chance you should take the tour and taste test down there. I bet you didn’t know they wash their oak barrels in the ocean… I’ve seen them do it. Pretty neat stuff.
